Hansar Samui Resort & Spa - Bophut

A luxury resort with fantastic staff. Especially from the poolside bar staff, they made sure that we always had a drink!!!

staff of the hotel are quite friendly and good english speaking, good location and facilities. we had really a good time staying with Hansar Samui and will come back in the future.

The hotel itself offers superb facilities and is only 50 yards up the road from Fisherman's village which boasts some of the best and most varied places to eat on Samui. The pool is one of the best I have ever swam in and meant we rarely went over the road to the private beach.

The only thing with Hotels on the Bo Phut coastline is that the sand on the beach is very rough in comparison to the other's around the island such as Chaweng.

The staff were amazing, location couldn't be better and the choice of restaurants surrounding and the Hansar restaurant itself made this the perfect hotel to stay at in Koh Samui

After almost visiting the full island, I can say that location wise hansar is the best. It is a walking distance from Fisherman Village and a few minute drive from Chewang (the night spot) and with a great sea view and nice infinity pool. Ms. Marketa at the reception was of excellent help and gave us the best tips about the island which made our stay wonderful.

When we first arrived, the ground floor room was a bit humid (humidity smell) even though our friends on the higher floor didn't have this problem; but with time, this was improved.

Walking distance to Fisherman's Village, 3 happy hours per day, great sea views

Not a lot of shade other than pool umbrellas. Could be more trees to provide shade.

Location to shops, quiet, clean, pool and beach

Hansar Samui is in a fabulous location right on the beach and just two minutes walking distance from the very pretty Fisherman's village. The infinity pool and the restaurant also have great views. A special mention to the super friendly and professional staff . For my da'ds birthday they even organized a surprize cake !

The hotel itself if wonderful. Staff is very friendly, their English is OK. Breakfast is also good, servants are attentive. Rooms are beautifully designed and look quite new. Location is good for restaurants - plenty of them close to the hotel.

Many of the hotel's services are very expensive - like spa. We opted for a much cheaper thai massage close to the hotel. Dinner meny is also very expensive and not very Thai - and we wanted Thai food in Thailand. The beach is not too good compared to Chaweng - we ended up going there almost every day.

Hansar has the best location of all the resorts in Bophut, located within the Fisherman's village. All rooms look over the sea, but rooms on the higher floor have more privacy and better views. Rooms are spacious and bed is huge. Pool area is attractive, with infinity pool and plenty of loungers for guests. Good selection of breakfast choices.

Staff could benefit from more customer service training. For example, at breakfast we were sometimes forgotten and had to seek out staff to order coffee / meals. Poor design means bathrooms lack privacy - showers are in the middle of the room and toilet has partial glass door.

Hansar is a beautiful resort right next to the fisherman's village at Bophut. Staff especially the pool staff were super friendly, the spa was great and hotel decor fabulous. I also enjoyed happy hour by the pool each day. I would highly recommend this resort.

I liked the Hotel modern style, the pool is amazing and the beach is across the small road that I think the Hotel built. I like the style of the Room, specially the Shower area. Breakfast is very good.

The water pressure in the Shower is too weak

Nice pool. Good dinner. Nice bar. Nice room. Mosquito spray supplied and plenty of water.

Quality of breakfast, of towels, of toiletries - small things that are usually good in 5 stars were not as good as expected
